Vendor Management Service Lead

Overview:

We are seeking a Vendor Management Service Lead to oversee the delivery of vendor management services across multiple clients. This role sits at the intersection of project leadership and service ownership, ensuring high standards in vendor onboarding, contract lifecycle management, invoice reconciliation, and performance oversight. You’ll supervise analysts, lead key initiatives, and act as an escalation point to ensure clients receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate vendor management projects across different clients.
  • Supervise and mentor analysts supporting vendor management activities.
  • Oversee vendor onboarding, contract renewals, and cost reconciliations.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for vendor issues, disputes, or process breakdowns.
  • Partner with Relationship Managers to ensure services align with client needs and expectations.
  • Establish best practices, documentation, and standardized processes for vendor management.
  • Contribute to vendor negotiations and strategic vendor relationship initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Procurement, or related field.
  • 4+ years of vendor management, procurement, or contract management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects or small teams.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple client demands at once.
  • Advanced Excel; familiarity with vendor management or procurement systems a plus.

Work Environment:

This position operates in a professional home office environment. This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

Compensation:

This is a mid-level role with a good faith salary compensation between $75,000.00 – $120,000.00 annually. Actual compensation is guided by various factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. In addition, we offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with a company match along with vacation and sick days.

Type of Position and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position with normal Monday through Friday business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
